The White Ash Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District (WALPRD) was formed in 1976 to address resource management concerns on White Ash and North White Ash Lakes.

The District has been active in a number of lake management activities, including:

  • Aquatic plant management

  • Invasive species monitoring and control

  • Habitat improvements

  • Boat landing monitoring

  • Community education activities
